A people-centered, practitioner-driven community of practice
Action for Advancement (A4A) is an initiative from The Shared Space Project designed to support the practitioners who turn ideas for inclusive programming into real-world action.
We're excited to launch A4A in April 2026 with an in-person kickoff event in Seattle in May. It will be an annual, membership-based cohort bringing together government agencies, utilities, advocates, and researchers to learn, co-create, and implement people-centered energy solutions.

Annual Membership Contribution
We seek to develop a diverse and inclusive cohort where organizations of different sizes, scopes, and resources can participate fully.
For every organization who enrolls at the top tier, we will provide a complimentary membership to a community-based organization, community action agency, or grassroots organization. That organization will be invited to select an organization to receive this complimentary membership.
